Zachary Haas is a dynamic trombonist, educator, and activist known for pushing musical boundaries in NYC and beyond. As principal bass trombonist of the Boston Festival Orchestra, he’s also brought his talents to ensembles such as Rhode Island Philharmonic, The Florida Orchestra, New World Symphony, and New London Big Band—where he can be heard on the album “Social Hour!”.

A prize-winning soloist and chamber musician, Zachary has performed at renowned venues like Carnegie Hall, Teatro Colón, the Kennedy Center, and many others. With degrees from Yale, Boston University, and further studies at the Royal College of Music and OAcademy, he blends tradition and innovation in every performance.
