ENSEMBLES
The Boston Festival Orchestra (BFO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the accessibility and impact of classical music in Greater Boston. Founded in 2020 by Nicholas Brown and Alyssa Wang, both graduates of the New England Conservatory, the BFO emerged from a shared vision to address the scarcity of summertime musical engagements.
Despite initial setbacks due to the pandemic, BFO launched its inaugural season with virtual concerts in 2021, showcasing an interactive format that engaged audiences. Since then, BFO has expanded its reach, presenting free out-of-the-box Chamber Series concerts at the Cambridge Public Library and the Boston Athenæum, a return to our opera collaboration with the North End Music & Performing Arts Center, a brand new educational collaboration with the New England Conservatory, and bold Summer Stage orchestral concerts

Committed to community engagement, BFO partners with nonprofits to make classical music accessible to all members of the Greater Boston community. With a growing roster of musicians and support from the Boston Musicians' Association, the BFO is dedicated to serving its community through accessible programming, outreach, and collaboration.
InPhase emerged from the connection between two best friends who yearned to make music together despite being separated by the pandemic. To spread holiday cheer, Hillary and Zachary joined forces to create a musical Christmas countdown on social media. Their heartwarming initiative quickly captured the attention of audiences worldwide, bringing joy to both close friends and new followers alike.

Their journey began in 2016 at the Norfolk Summer Music Festival, where fate brought Hillary and Zachary together in a brass quintet. This fortuitous meeting paved the way for their continued collaboration at Yale, where they pursued their masters. Bonded by their shared love for Christmas, Starbucks, and Disney, they not only became lifelong friends but also a formidable musical partnership.
